Chinese peacekeeping troops awarded UN peace medal

As the only professional transport team, the 240-member transport company sent by China is responsible for transporting materials, food and people for all peacekeeping troops in Liberia. The United Nations Mission In Liberia awarded UN peace medal to the Chinese peacekeeping troops on Sept. 14, 2004 for their performance in peacekeeping in Liberia.
