55 Years of new China: great progress seen in jubilating figures (II)

Editor's Note: With the coming of the 55th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China, today, we present here a series of statistics to her as a gift.

Behind the numbers are the extraordinarily wonderful creations and lives of the 1.3 billion of Chinese people. Embedded in the contrasts is endless and profound significance.

Numbers are silent, but the numbers here appear to be so jubilating because they not only are summing up the brilliance of China's past but promising the splendour in its future.

Exciting figures take us back to such an experience: over the 55 years, the Communist Party of China as the ruling party, leading the Chinese people of all ethnic groups, conquered all kinds of risks and challenges, and built out of a disunited and poor country a prospering new China with people generally leading well-off lives, and realized world noted achievements.

Jubilating numbers make us firmly believe that the Communist Party of China, constantly enhancing its ruling capacity under new historical circumstances, will surely lead the Chinese people of all the ethnic groups to build up a well-off society and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
