China Mobile's phones to adopt new numbers
font size

China Mobile has been approved by the Ministry of Information to adopt new numbers beginning with 1340 to 1349 on its mobile phones.

It is learnt that 2 million new numbers are allocated to Sichuan Mobile and they will soon be put onto market, reported China Radio International.

Experts attribute the release of new numbers to the booming of Chinese mobile phone market and rapid growth of China Mobile's customers.

In addition, they suggest some additional mobile services, such as double numbers in one phone set, also raise the demand for more mobile phone numbers.
