South Africa will further increase economic and cultural cooperation with Xi'an, the capital of northwest China's Shaanxi province, the visiting South African Vice-President Jacob Zuma said Wednesday.
Zuma and his delegation, consisting of more than 50 governmental officials and entrepreneurs, arrived here Wednesday at noon from Beijing to continue their five-day official visit to China.
During his stay in Xi'an, Zuma attended a trade seminar with Shaanxi's governor, Jia Zhibang, at which more than 20 representatives from South Africa and the province expressed their hopes for cooperation in energy and trade.
