| Construction of cross-border railway between DPRK and ROK completed |

The reconnection work of two sets of cross-border railways and adjacent roads has been completely finished, and they are to be inaugurated late this month. One railway, the Gyeongui (Seoul-Sinuiju) railway, will connect the two capitals, Seoul and Pyongyang, and continue to Sinuiju, a Democratic People��s Republic of Korea��s city bordering China. The other line is to run along the east coast of the Korean Peninsula.
