UN Secretary-General to visit China

Kofi Annan, secretary-general of the United Nations, will pay an official visit to China from Oct. 9 to 13 at the invitation of the Chinese government, said Kong Quan, spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Thursday.
