Chinese U-20 soccer team has lost to their peers of South Korea 0-2, in the final of the 2004 Asian youth soccer championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

South Korea claimed the Asian youth soccer championship title for the 11th time.

Though the Chinese team ever beat South Korea four times before, South Korea controlled the match Saturday.

Park Joo-young scored two goals in the first half, leading South Korea to win over China.

Chinese player Wang Hongliang was fouled out with two yellow cards in the second half.

In the match for the third, Japan defeated Syria 5-4 in penalties.
