China has become a real giant in camera production. According to the estimation of the Chinese Culture and Office Equipment Trade Association the total output of cameras in 2004 is expected to reach 60 million, of which the digital take up 56 million, a respective increase of 9.09 and 40 percent over the same period of last year. With regard to the marketing, the growth of the digital camera will maintain an annual rate of 100 percent, which means that the sales volume will hit three to five million in 2005.

As learned China's International Photography Expo (Guangzhou) and South China International Filming, Processing, Technology and Equipment Exhibition 2004 will be held from November 11 to 14 in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province in south China.
