font size

Vladimir Seks, speaker of the Croatian Assembly, said in Zagreb on Tuesday that his country will always stick to the one-China principle.

Seks was speaking during a meeting with Liu Yunshan, head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

Seks also said Croatia's parliament is willing to deepen relations with China's National People's Congress.

Liu said that friendly political and economic relations between the two countries have laid the foundation for further cooperation and that China is willing to work with Croatia to push forward bilateral relations in all fields, including those between the two parliaments and the two political parties.

Liu is currently on a three-nation tour, which has taken him to Azerbaijan, and will also take him to Romania.
