Chinese oil giant Sinopec Corporation will almost certainly join hands with Formula One team BAR in 2005. The company sponsored the first China Grand Prix in Shanghai.

Sinopec, the sponsor of the first China Grand Prix in Shanghai this September, will almost certainly also become a BAR sponsor next year.

The F1 team, comprising British driver Jenson Button and Japanese Takuma Sato, is second to Ferrari in the Formula One rankings this season.
