China, Germany sign agreement on technological cooperation

Germany will offer China assistance worth 43.17 million euros for 19 programs concerning new energy utilization, economic restructuring, training and employment promotion, legal cooperation and environmental protection, according to an agreement on technological cooperation signed in Beijing Tuesday.

Both countries expressed the hope to enhance bilateral trade and technological cooperation, said an official of the Ministry ofCommerce.

China, as Germany's biggest aid recipient country, has receivedeconomic assistance gratis worthy of 768.5 million euros from Germany up to September this year, said the official.
