More than 2,000 companies applied to the Ministry of Education for recruiting next year's college graduates on line, a Ministry source said Wednesday.

The Ministry will launch two on-line job promotions from Nov. 22 to 28 and from Feb. 22 to 28 next year.

Companies that want to recruit employees and college graduates that seek jobs will put the information on two websites www.myjob.edu.cn and www.job100.com for free during the two promotion weeks, the Ministry said.

The websites will also invite human resources experts and officials to give on-line consultations.

The government launched such on-line promotions last year in response to growing need of graduates for information on line.

The country has just seen a job-seeking season. This summer the job market received 2.8 million college graduates, 32 percent over last year.

According to the Ministry, 73 percent of this year's college graduates have found jobs.

Next year the number of college graduates will rise to 3.38 million by 20.71 percent, posting another hard task for the country.
