font size

East China's Shandong Province kicks off a summit meeting on cooperation with the Fortune 500 companies Wednesday, hoping to seek business opportunities in the world market.

Representatives from 50 of Fortune magazine's top 500 companies, including Mitsui & Co. Ltd. and Korea Electric Power Corporation, participated in the two-day meeting.

During the meeting, participants will discuss a series of topics, such as the development of overseas financing, auto parts industry and information industry.

With a theme of "exchange, cooperation and win-win strategy," the meeting is expected to provide a stage for the Fortune 500 companies to learn more about the advantages of the province in terms of investment and business.

Experts believe that the meeting will also provide business opportunities to local companies as a great majority of the Fortune 500 eye China as one of the most attractive investment places.

The meeting is sponsored by local government.
