CPC plans educational activities on keeping advanced nature
font size

The Communist Party of China (CPC) will launch an internal educational campaign from January next year on keeping the advanced nature of Party members.

The decision was made at Thursday's meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, chaired by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Hu Jintao.

Participants agree that under the new historical conditions, maintaining the advanced nature of the Party has bearing with the elevation of the Party's governance capability, consolidation of its governing status, prosperity of the causes of the Party and the people, and the country's lasting peace and stability.

It is pointed out that the advanced nature of the Party must be displayed by the exemplary acts of Party members.

Party committees at various levels are urged to take the campaign as a major event in the political life of the whole Party and ensure a success of it.
