font size

The famous French fireworks show, A Little More Light, took place here Thursday as part of the French Culture Year celebrations.

The show, presented by French Group F, told Chinese viewers an ancient myth of kidnapping sunlight and giving it back to the people in colors of red, gold and white.

The show lasted about 40 minutes and cost about one million euros.

Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province, was one of the first cities in China to experience the Sino-French cultural exchanges in the 1960s. It drew an audience of tens of thousands of local people.

According to the local statistics, Wuhan has become the largestFrench investment destination and more than 30 French companies established businesses here, bringing about investment of 2.2 billion US dollars to the city.

French Air Force's "Patrouille de France" gave its famous aerobatics show in the city six days ago. Enditem
