According to the customs statistics, the total trade value of south China's Guangdong province in the previous 3 quarters achieved US$253.72 billion. The export gained US$13.358 billion, an increase of 25.3 percent; and the import reached 120.14 billion, a rise by 27.6 percent. It is reported that Guangdong province realized a foreign trade surplus of US$13.44 billion in the first 3 quarters of this year.
