Chinese State Councilor Zhou Yongkang, and Procurator-General of China's Supreme People's Procuratorate Jia Chunwang met respectively with Song Kwang Soo, prosecutor-general of the Republic of Korea (ROK), and his party in Beijing Monday.

Zhou said China need to step up studies on legal systems of other countries, learn from their useful experience and advance the reform of its legal system in an active, safer and proper way.

He said the Chinese side will conduct extensive, in-depth exchanges and cooperation with other countries including the ROK in this regard, learn from each other and carry out legal assistance so as to better perform supervision and battle against corruption and other criminal offenses.

The ROK visitors are here as guest of the Chinese Supreme People's Procuratorate.
