Technicians not satisfied with job: survey
font size

A recent survey of Chinese technicians, including engineers and science researchers, shows that about 85 percent of them would be willing to start their own business.

The study shows they are not satisfied with their current status, and they would like to go out on their own, China Radio International reported Monday.

Although a large proportion of them would like to set up their own business, experts say they are not actually suited for the business world.

Technicians, who spend most of their time in labs, generally have little understanding of market risk, national policies and modern management.

The survey groups the technicians into five categories, including engineers, medical and agricultural technicians, sciences researchers and teachers.
