China strengthens education quality management

China will establish an assessment center to evaluate the quality of teaching in nearly 2,000 colleges and universities.

The Chinese Ministry of Education announces it will establish an assessment center to evaluate the quality of teaching in nearly 2,000 colleges and universities in the country, with an evaluation done once every five years.

To date, China has over 20 million students receiving higher education.
