Chinese travelers favor one-nation Europe trips
font size

More Chinese tourists are favoring in-depth tours of one European nation opposed to the trips combining 10 to 15 countries, which were popular when Europe opened to Chinese tours September 1.

"Based on the demands of those customers, we promoted 'one nation trip' and hope it can influence the travel habit of potential Chinese people," said Sun Changwei, general manager of China Youth Travel Service (CYTS).

He said, opposite to the 10-nations trip, the new route is more flexible and comfortable, avoiding sitting in the bus for six hours per day and hurrying from one attraction to the other.

CYTS, Finnair and Finnish Tourist Board promoted "ice and snow tour" for the first time in China. Sun expressed the hope that the route can allure those who are interested in the polar region and China's growing skiing-lovers.
