Taiwan personages demand payment from authorities

Taiwan personages including director Hou Xiaoxian, poet Zhan Che, scholor Zhu Yunpeng and writer Zhu Tianxin launched a federation Sunday to demand payment from the authorities for huge damages caused by policy errors.

At the founding ceremony of the action federation, which is aimed at demanding payment from the authorities for hollowing out treasury, people condemned in the form of action dramas the Taiwan authorities' "taking out gold and silver ingots", abusing and wasting public funds earned by hard toil.

The federation pointed out in its launching declaration that policy errors are even more terrible than corruptions and the "white gold" politics cloaked in sheepskin even more dreadful than the "black gold" politics. Scholar Zhu Yunpeng said policy errors of the authorities have resulted in direct damages of 33.05 billion New Taiwan Dollar and indirect public damages of over 6 trillion New Taiwan Dollar. The federation said if the money wasted could be used for children lunch subsidies it would last 472 years.
