Cyclical economy linked with gov't achievements
font size

China's Cyclical Economy Development Forum has wrapped up in Shanghai with the approval of the Shanghai Declaration, urging people's congresses and governments at all levels to strengthen management on the cyclical economy.

The document also says evaluation on cyclical economic activities will be linked with government achievement assessments.

It calls on local governments to launch extensive cooperation with enterprises and academes to work out targets to promote the cyclical economy.

The Declaration urges enterprises to set up strategies in line with sustainable development and cyclical economy, save resources and cut costs, as well as protect the eco-environment.

More than 200 participants from the National People's Congress, government departments, research institutions and enterprises attended the forum, which opened Saturday.

Cyclical economics are an economic growth model based on the cyclical use of resources.
