font size

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met Tuesday with a delegation of Geneva Association of United Nations Corespondents.

Tang briefed the guests on present China's development and its foreign policy.

He said China has been working for peaceful development and wishes to strengthen cooperation with the international community.

China supports multilateralism and agrees to enhance the role and authority of the United Nations, said Tang.

The reform of UN should be carried out by seeking common grounds through full negotiations, he added.

The delegation is on a China visit at the invitation of the Information Office of the State Council.
