Chinese top legislator concludes visit to four African countries

Wu Bangguo, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, concluded his official good-will visit to four African countries, and returned to Beijing Tuesday.

He visited Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Nigeria from Oct. 29 to Nov. 8, at the invitation of Francis Ole Kaparo, speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya; the government and National Assembly of Zimbabwe; Amusaa K. Mwanamwambwa, speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia; Adolphus Nduneweh Wabara, president of Senate of the National Assembly of Nigeria, and Aminu Masari, president of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Nigeria.
