Chinese FM talks over phone with US national security advisor

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing had a telephone conversation with US Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Condoleezza Rice Monday evening, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

The two sides exchanged views on the further promotion of Sino-US constructive and cooperative relations.

Li also introduced China's stance to properly resolve the Iranian nuclear issue within the framework of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
