HK's foreign exchange reserve increased $1.1 billion in OctoberLatest statistics from Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) showed that by the end of last October Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserve was $119.5 billion, $1.1 billion higher than the $118.4 billion in September, ranking world sixth. The $119.5 billion total foreign exchange reserve of Hong Kong is six times that of currency circulation in the region, or 45 percent of M3 Hong Kong dollars supply.
