Senior party official to attend conferences in NZ, S.Africa

Zhang Zhijun, deputy head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, will attend conferences in New Zealand and South Africa as CPC representative.

Zhang will attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Labor Party (NZLP), slated for Nov.12-14 at NZLP's invitation.

He will also go to South Africa for the meeting of the Council of the Socialist International (SI) due for Nov. 15-16 as guest of SI.
