President Hu leaves Beijing for 4 Latin American countries

Chinese President Hu Jintao left Beijing on November 10 afternoon for four Latin American countries of Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Cuba.

Hu will pay state visits to the four countries at the invitation of Brazilian President Luis Inacio Lula Da Silva, Argentine President Nestor Kirchner, Chilean President Ricardo Lagos Escobar, and Fidel Castro Ruz, president of Cuban Council of State and Council of Ministers.

During his visits, Hu will also attend the 12th Informal Leadership Meeting of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) which will be held in Santiago, capital of Chile, between Nov. 20 and 21.
