UN postpones vote on Cote d'Ivoire resolution until Monday

The UN Security Council agreed on Wednesday to set a Dec. 10 deadline for the government of Cote d'Ivoire and its rebels to implement peace deals, but it decided to postpone a vote on a resolution to this effect until Monday at the request of the African Union, the council president announced.
