CPPCC vice-chairman meets Albanian guests

Li Meng, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met in Beijing with Albanian Defense Minister Pandeli Majko and his party on Friday.

Li said Sino-Albanian friendly relations had stood the test of time over the past half century. China has always attached importance in developing its relations with Albania and is willingto further promote bilateral friendly, cooperative relations by enhancing exchanges and mutual understanding, he noted.

Majko said the Chinese people and the Albanian people love and have affection for each other, and their visit aims at enhancing understanding to China and promote military-to-military cooperation between the two countries.

Majko and other Albanian guests have come to visit China as guest of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense. They will also travel to Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi province and Shanghai municipality in east China.
