The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission announced on Friday that it's recruited 22 senior officers for 21 large state-owned enterprises, reported CCTV Saturday.

Among these 22 newly-recruited officers, 12 were from enterprises owned by the central government, four from other state-owned or state-holding companies, four from the private sector, foreign-funded companies or joint ventures, and two from governmental bodies. The average recruit is under 40 and has a high level of education.

Li Yizhong, secretary of SASAC, said, "We will attract and recruit more management talent from across the world next year. And we are going to recruit CEOs for some enterprises."

This was the second public recruitment for senior posts, which attracted applications from some 937 candidates. China Unicom and other companies recruited seven officers last year.
