Li Guixian, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, met Monday afternoon with former president of Guatemala Vinicio Cerezo.

Cerezo, now general secretary of the Christian Democratic Party of Guatemala, started his good-will visit to China on Nov. 10 at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
