Increase of China's auto sales lower than 20% this year
font size

Judging from past experience, the fourth quarter is the golden season for auto sales in a year. However, the auto market experiences cold winter in the first month of the 4th quarter this year.

In October, a total of 374, 300 and 404,700 automobiles are produced and sold, 14.47 percent and 7.783 percent lower than the previous month respectively. A total of 147, 100 sedan cars are produced, 19.77 percent lower than last month; the sales of sedan cars is 7.99 percent lower as against September. This shows the auto enterprises effort in cutting production has been effective to some extent. However, it is impossible for them to fulfill the objective of selling 3 million sedan cars in the year.
