48% of returned overseas students satisfied with their jobs

With the 3,012nd overseas student's registration online on Nov 16, the one-month long survey on returned overseas students' status quo is completed.

Since the beginning of the online survey on Oct 15, it has attracted keen attentions from the students studying overseas. Aside from the students who have returned home, those who are now studying in the US, Canada, Japan, the UK, Germany and Australia have filled in the questionnaires.

The survey consists of nine parts and incorporates nearly 200 questions covering topics of life, study, choose of profession and emotions. For instance, following questions are asked in the survey: What is your purpose of studying abroad? What is the most attractive thing abroad? How is the situation overseas different from expected? Part of the results has been published at www.haiguiss.org.

The result shows nearly half of the Haigui feel "very satisfied" or "fairly satisfied" with their jobs; only 16percent are not satisfied with their jobs.

Of all the Haiguis who have a job, 9 percent are "very satisfied"; 39 percent are "fairly satisfied"; 36 percent feel "fair"; 11 percent are "fairly unsatisfied"; the rest 5 percent are "very unsatisfied".
