Parainfluenza virus confirmed in HK "mysterious disease" patients

Hong Kong medical chief confirmed parainfluenza virus is the cause of the "mysterious disease" outbreak in Hong Kong Caritas Medical Center.

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food York Chow said Friday at a press conference that all seven specimens have tested positive for parainfluenza.

A total of 32 Hong Kong child have contracted with the disease.
