Baotou aircrash: Black box still in search
font size

The search for the flight-data recorders of the crashed China Eastern plane is still going on in the north China city of Baotou, China Radio International reported Tuesday.

The plane dropped into a park lake soon after it took off Sunday morning, killing all 53 aboard and one more on the ground.

All the bodies have been recovered, but the black boxes remain unfound.

Some 300 family members of the victims are now in the city and insurance compensation is in full swing.

Investigators have ruled out human error, but for security reasons, all flights of the same carrier have been grounded.
