Guinean parliament speaker meets Chinese party official

Guinean National Assembly speaker Aboubacar Sompare met with a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Tuesday in Conakry, capital of Guinea.

The Chinese party official, Wang Jiarui, is the head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Wang and Sompare held talks over bilateral relations, especially those between the ruling parties and parliaments of the two countries.

Sompare said Guinea appreciates long years of aid and assistance rendered by the Chinese side and is learning from China's experience to develop its own economy.

Wang also held talks on Tuesday with Guinean Foreign Minister Mamady Conde.
