Chinese striker pays 282,000 dollars to disabled teammate
At a press conference held in Beijing Nov 22, Zhang Yuning, a striker of the Shanghai Shenhua Football Club shows his photo with Qu Leheng, his former Liaoning club teammate who had been disabled in a car crash four years ago. Zhang was the driver of the car as the accident happened. Zhang apologizes to Qu at the press confrence. The Shenyang Intermediate People's Court ruled on Nov 10th that Zhang should pay Qu 2.34 million yuan as compensation.
