font size

Four people have been killed in a plane crash on Tuesday night near N'djamena, capital of Chad, said Chadian officials Wednesday.

The dead were three Italian tourists and one crew member, the officials added.

The plane, owned by a private aviation company in the eastern city of Biltine, was rented by 12 Italians for a tour in northeastern Chad.

The government has carried out an investigation into the cause of the crash, said the officials.
