People paying more for Christmas dinner
font size

Hotel prices for Christmas dinner have increased over the last five years by about 200 yuan a year.

Many hotels have announced this year's Christmas dinner prices as high as 2000 yuan(about 240 US dollars).

It's said the price rise is caused by increasing market demands, and because most consumers are using the public funds they're not concerned about price rises.

Hotels in Beijing are preparing for Christmas feasts with some setting up Christmas trees and decorations.
