Italian president to visit China

Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi will pay a state visit to China from Dec. 4 to 9 at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue at a regular press conference Thursday.
