All the 12 victims including 8 killed and 4 injured have been identified as senior high school students of the Second Senior High School of Ruzhou City, central China's Henan Province, local police said Friday.

A man broke into the dormitory of the high school with a knife in his hand at 11:45 p.m. Thursday and chopped eight people to death and four others to injury.

The murderer's physical features have been confirmed and further investigation in the case is under way, according to the police.
