China's Yang Yang (A) took her second gold medal on November 27, winning the 500-meter race in the Amerian World Cup short-track race held in Madison, Wisconsin.
The reigning Olympic champion at 500-meter race won with a time of 45.371 seconds. Her teammate Wamg Meng was second in 45.429 and Marta Capurso of Italy third in 45.561.
After taking last season off, Yang is competing in only her second World Cup meet this year. She also won the 1,500-meter race Friday night for her first victory since her return to skating.
In the men's 500-meter final, Mathieu Turcotte of Canada captured the title in 41.673.
Apolo Anton Ohno finished second in 41.724, followed by Takafumi Nishitani of Japan in 41.955. The Japanese was the 1998 gold medallist at 500 meters.
