Khamtay spoke highly of the traditional friendship between Laos and China. He said China. as a friend of Laos, has assisted Laos in developing economy, eradicating poverty, and improving the living standard of the Laotians. He said Laos is encouraged by Wen's official visit and his participation in the ASEAN meetings, and is thankful for China's assistance for holding the meetings. Khamtay said Laos will implement the agreements signed during his current visit. Wen is here for an official visit to Laos while attending the eighth summit between ASEAN and China, and between ASEAN and China, Japan and the Republic of Korea, as well as the sixth China, Japan and ROK summit. | ||
