Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met in Beijing on November 29 with Marie-George Buffet, national secretary of the Communist Party of France.
Wang and Buffet exchanged views on issues of mutual concern. China's dramatic change has exerted positive influence on the peace and development in the world, Buffet said.
Buffet said his visit is expected to help France understand China's experiences in development.
