font size

China will host the Under-19 Rugby Asia Championship on December 12 in Kunming, capital of south China's Yunnan province. The Chinese national team aims at entering last six.

The six-day tournament features teams from 12 countries and regions in Asia, and the winner will qualify for the World Championship.

The Chinese national team has arrived in Kunming and started training. Head coach Zheng Hongjun says his team's goal is to enter the last six. This will be the first time for the Chinese Rugby Association to host formal Asian events since its founding five years ago.
