Chinese FM talks over phone with EU commissioner, Dutch FM

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing Thursday had a telephone conversation with Dutch Foreign Minister Bernard Bot and the European Union (EU) External Relations Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner, respectively.

They exchanged views on further developing relations between China and the Netherlands and between China and the EU, ministry sources said.

They all expressed the determination to make joint efforts for a success in the visit of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to the Netherlands and the in Seventh China-EU Leaders' Meeting slated for Dec. 8 in the Hague of the Netherlands, which Premier Wen will attend.
