Kyrgyzstan Prime Minister Nikolai Tanayev left Guangzhou Thursday, ending his two-day visit to Guangdong, a prosperous south China province.
"Kyrgyzstan hopes to learn from Guangdong and strengthen economic, cultural, educational and scientific cooperation with Guangdong," Tanayev said in a meeting with Huang Huahua, governor of Guangdong.
Huang said recent years have witnessed marked growth of trade between the province and the Central Asian country. Trade volume reached 5.83 million US dollars in 2003, 309.5 percent higher than that of 2002. In 2004, it increased 29.5 percent until September.
Guangdong was the second leg of Tanayev's visit in China. He had visited east China's metropolis of Shanghai.
