Pakistan, Indian hold talks on rail service

Talks between Pakistan and India on opening a rail service to link the two sides are under way hereFriday, local media reported.

A report of the Dawn newspaper said technical teams from concerned departments of both sides kicked off the discussion Thursday in a bid to clinch a final decision on a rail to link between Pakistan's Khokharpar city and India's Monabao city.

Arrangements relating to travel documents and repairs of trackswill be covered in the talks, according to the Dawn.

Pakistan and India, the two arch-rivals in South Asia, have been engaged in a peace dialogue since February.
