Indonesian President Susilo BambangYudhoyono will not meet Malaysia's opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim during the latter's visit here next week, presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal has said.

"There's no plan whatsoever from President Susilo to meet AnwarIbrahim. It is not on the President's schedule," Dino was quoted Saturday by The Jakarta Post newspaper as saying.

He said the Indonesian government was busy preparing for the visit by Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Najib Razak.

During his four-day visit to Indonesia, Ibrahim is slated to meet Vice President Jusuf Kalla, House of Representatives Speaker Agung Laksono, People's Consultative Assembly Speaker Hidayat Nur Wahid and prominent political figures like Abdurrahman Wahid and Megawati Soekarnoputri.
